The customer has worked with MARQ for several years. They had recently purchased two HPV- model F machines (High Performance Vibrators with controlled compression). Established lines for their production area limited the sealing of the cases to be done away form the product settling via MARQ HPV's. Consistent performance from the MARQ machines they had already purchased would lead them to continue using MARQ products.
Requirements:
¨ Machines would need to be dependable and capable of operating in a harsh frozen food environment.
¨ Due to the inconsistent nature of adhesive tape and extremely low temperatures, top and bottom glue would be necessary for proper case sealing.
¨ The machines would need to produce sturdy and consistently square cases for palletizing.
Payback:
They knew that payback was inevitable with the enormous amount of corrugated saved and shipping space gained.
